If you want to win then design, innovation and online excellence top the agenda. I imagine the winning website also needs to have every social platform and feed every form of tablet. Have you heard of Pocket, an app that saves all those articles, videos and webpages that you spot online but don’t have time to read. You save in a ‘virtual pocket’ and browse when ‘relaxing at home’ – which strikes me that you are not relaxing at home. Francophiles will love the website which features new lifestyle photography by Jan Baldwin and a beautifully written and illustrated blog with original content that tells us the backstory of the products and talks about food and travel. Written by the owners, the food section has charming illustrations by Alice Ray.
